About Rachael

Hi there! My name is Rachael. I am currently an OB/GYN resident. I love working with children and am looking for child care opportunities in the San Antonio area. I have >15 years of babysitting experience, from newborns to teenagers. I also worked in a church nursery for 3 years and was responsible for creating and teaching Sunday and Wednesday school lessons and organizing crafts. I love doing arts and crafts and staying physically active with the kids I babysit. I always joke that I wear my "babysitting clothes" - ready to run around outside or play inside. I have experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder and speech delays. I am comfortable with personalized learning goals and adjusting my style to each child's needs. I also speak Spanish (not fluently, but pretty well!) and would love to help teach your children some basic Spanish. I am CPR-certified, have my own vehicle, and am comfortable with pets in the home.
