About Quynh

Hello! I am a current transfer undergraduate student at the University. I have been working with students for the last two years on both STEM and humanities subjects and am thrilled to get to play a role in assisting them toward success in their education. I was previously a Pre-algebra and Algebra tutor to freshman and sophomore students for one year. I focused on the basic principles of Algebra with these students to build a strong base on which they could further develop algebraic knowledge. With my support, these students were able to heavily boost their test scores. Shortly after tutoring high schoolers, I tutored at a center for a year with elementary students. I worked on math, writing, and reading with them. I try to break the problems into small steps to ensure ultimate understanding for math problems. With reading and writing, I worked on grammar and pronunciation to strengthen the student's ability to communicate fluently.
