About Quinaiya

I like working with kids because I am the oldest of 12 siblings so I love being around children. They bring so much joy to my life! I started working with kids when my first baby brother was born when I was about 6 years old and I have taken care of all of my siblings since birth. In my spare time, I like to crochet, sew, and make handbags. It's become something I love to pour my creativity into and I've started a small business from it as well. My skills include creative play, as well as arts and crafts. One of my strengths is peacefully communicating with children in high stress situations, allowing them to voice their opinions and needs, making children feel heard and accepted is a high value to me. (I do have a 10-month-old baby and I would have to bring her to work with me. I am able to handle multiple children at once and it will not affect my work ethic.)
