About Priscilla

Hi! My 6 years of professional childcare and education experience ensure the safety and positive experience of your child in my care. I am currently teaching 2nd grade in North Chicago. I student taught in a kindergarten classroom at a Montessori school in State College. While in school, I have also worked as a preschool assistant teacher for about 3 years. In addition to this, I have 4 years of au pair experience with the same family prior to the pursuit of my degree. I have been babysitting informally since 2013 for various families around my hometown. Working with kids is a passion of mine, as I have an appreciation for childlike curiosity. I see value in childhood education and ensuring the safety of children. I am well qualified with a PA and Illinois teaching license, mandated reporter training, education and child development coursework, and extensive experience with childcare.
