We hired Pricila several weeks in advance of our start date. On the morning of her first day, after confirming that she was still available and still coming, she canceled due to a family emergency. This is completely understandable, although not ideal given the last-minute notice. However, Over the course of the next 7 working days (1.5 weeks) she canceled on us, last minute, 5 of the 7 days. We understand that family emergencies happen, but she assured us she would show up for her job but repeatedly left us in the lurch. She was friendly and on-time (when she showed), but because she is the primary caretaker of her parents there is a severe lack of dependability for the family she nannies for. On this basis alone, we would not hire her again.
