About Pouneh

I have worked as a nanny with several families caring for newborns to pre-teens over the years including a full-time nanny share for two infant girls. I am a mom myself to a 12-year-old boy and I work as a Philly public school Humanities teacher by day (BA from Rutgers University, MS from Saint Joseph's University), so I am looking for babysitting jobs at night or on the weekends. My graduate coursework included early literacy and childhood development and I have successfully incorporated baby sign-language into my care as well. I love reading to children, interactive play, outdoor/city exploration (parks, libraries, museums, NEST, etc.), and as an avid crafter, encouraging creative arts development as well.
