Hello! A quick overview of my background - I have worked at local high schools as a sub and volleyball coach and I attended UVA studying Youth and Social Innovation and Psychology in the Education School, currently working during the day with UVA students as a wellness coach. I am a local having grown up in Charlottesville, and I love this community dearly. I have babysat for many families and even nannied part-time for two families during my undergraduate studies watching a 7-month-old and two boys 3 and 6. I also pet sit and am comfortable working in homes with animals. Over the years, I have developed my child care approach and would describe it as kind, joyful, thoughtful, with firm boundaries and communication. I am proficient at food preparation, transportation, and enjoy activities with children from outdoor play to arts and crafts, board games, and baking. I really love working with children, enjoy their infectious curiosity and excitement, and am a responsible caregiver.

Piper was great! She was super friendly and kind. She made dinner for our two kids (4 and 9 years old) and had them in bed by the time we got home. She was very respectful and both our kids loved her. We will be seeing her again soon to babysit again!
