Hello! My name is Piper and I am 22 years old and studying History and Political Science at Indiana University Kokomo. Although I go to school in Kokomo, I call West Lafayette home and have lived here since I was 5 years old. I have been working at a childcare center for the last 2 years and absolutely love it. I work with children from around the world, ages 12 months to 12 years! My strongest skills are empathy, patience, and a love of helping children learn and explore the world around them. I love doing hands-on activities with little ones and believe that creating a calm, caring, and educational space helps children grow and reach milestones. I live an active lifestyle and love running, walking, and spending time outdoors. Creating nurturing, safe, and loving environments with children is my greatest passion. After graduation, I hope to work with non-profit organizations that specialize in children's rights and work toward educating children from around the world.
