About Phoebe

Hi my name is Phoebe! I am an elementary education major on the path to becoming a 3rd grade teacher! I am looking for occasional babysitting jobs in Spokane. I do not have a car so I will only babysit during the day in places that I have to take public transportation to get to. I am happy to do night babysitting if you are willing to pay for an drive there and back. I have nine years of childcare experience with all ages, babysitting and as an au pair (a live-in nanny). I volunteer at a crisis nursery where I work with children whose caretakers are in crisis situations and need urgent free childcare. I value open communication with the families I work with and am very transparent about the way I work. I generally subscribe to an authoritative parenting style (commonly known as gentle parenting) and believe strongly in firm boundaries, gentle discipline, and teaching children emotional regulation skills.
