About Phoebe

Hi my name is Phoebe! I am originally from Boulder and am currently in college as an elementary education major in Spokane Washington and I am planning on becoming a third grade teacher! I'm looking for a a short term nanny job for the 2025 Summer. I will be in Boulder from roughly May 10th to August 22nd. I have nine years of childcare experience with all ages, babysitting and as an au pair (a live-in nanny). I currently volunteer at a crisis nursery where I work mainly with children ages zero months to three years, whose caretakers are in crisis situations and need urgent free childcare. I value open communication with the families I work with and am very transparent about the way I work. I generally subscribe to an authoritative parenting style (commonly known as gentle parenting) and believe strongly in firm boundaries, gentle discipline, and teaching children emotional regulation skills.
