About Phoebe

I started babysitting when I was 13. I've cared for kids of all ages. I got my first regular gig as a nanny for two girls, ages 7 and 9 when I was 16. I watched them for 4 consecutive summers. I also nannied two boys ages 2 and 6 during the covid lockdown. This past winter/spring I nannied 6-month-old twin boys. I am currently nannying a 2-year-old for the summer and I have been with his family since he was an infant. In highschool I worked at an after-school program for preschool-aged kids through 5th grade. I currently live in Ames and I'm looking for full time work. I love planning crafts, adventures, reading books, and just playing alongside the kids. I also take pride in being an organized person who is very willing to help with various household tasks and cleaning. I have seen the desire parents have to have good quality care for their children, and a big part of that is having a strong and trusting relationship with their caretaker. I hope to be just that for someone's family.
