My experience caring for children began in my own household- as one of four children and the only girl in the house I adopted the role of negotiator, learning to calm down hectic situations and prevent any arguments or problems at a young age. As I matured, my natural flair with children became apparent to others, an I began care-taking for family's in my town or relatives at the age of 13, and continued part-time throughout high school until the present. Additionally, my junior and senior year of high school I volunteered as a Religious Education teacher, co-teaching roughly 20 children with one other high schooler. Moreover, experience refereeing both basketball and soccer has improved me skills of being in charge of a large group of children. I am an outgoing, highly energetic individual that greatly enjoys working with children of any age.

During her senior year, she was elected as one of our captains on the track team, and responded well to that title.
