About Phoebe

Hi, my name is Phoebe (they/them). I am a musician, and I study Communications and Psychology. I am trained in infant and child CPR, a non-smoker, and comfortable with pets. I am a natural caregiver who grew up in a large family, and have been working in childcare my entire adult life. I am attentive to developmental milestones, and love engaging little ones in age-appropriate activities that encourage sensory and motor development. I am happy to help with light housekeeping like vacuuming, laundry, and meal prep, and I am used to working in homes where parents are present and working from home. Honoring a child's individuality and respecting their autonomy are core tenets of my approach. I like to encourage problem-solving and independence by allowing them to explore and figure things out on their own, setting safe boundaries when necessary and explaining why I am doing so. I love working collaboratively with parents to create an environment for their child to thrive in.
