Phakamile (PK like we like to call her) took care of my son from when he was about 7months old till he turned 2years old, and had to start daycare. I had worked with about 4 nannies/caregivers before PK, so by the time I met her, i knew exactly what i was looking for. She worked with us 5 days a week for about a year and a half, and made that period of my life so much easier. She was never late, like never. It was easy for me to fulfill my other commitments, because she was extremely reliable. She accommodated my late-notice requests for overtime and even came on public holidays if it fell within her work days. I never had to remind her to do something and I didn’t have to complain about something more than once. My son absolutely loves her. You could see he was well taken care of with her. She fed him, bathe him, read to him, played with him, took him to the playground, took care of him when he was sick, and taught him some of his first words. As a first time mum, it was very important to me that I worked with someone that was reliable and that i could trust completely with my child, and she is that person. My family was so lucky to have met her.
