About Peter

I started caring for seniors in 2001 working in a retirement community for 2 years. In 2019 and 2021 I took care of my dad while in recovery till he got better. I am licensed as a CNA by the State of Virginia and have been working in a retirement community and in private care. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family, enjoy the outdoors and like to travel to new places and try different cuisines . One thing you should know about me is that I genuinely care about others and especially those under my care. With my mature and compassionate approach, families will be happy to know their loved one is in good hands. My skills include 1. Personal Care assistance from getting out of bed, hygiene, toileting, grooming, meal preparation and feeding to mention a few. 2. Transfers; Offering support as needed during transfers both self or using varied transfer equipment. 3. Medication Management; Administering meds in the prescribed manner and prompting clients where necessary.
