About Peter

I'm Peter, he/him. I'm a former Instructional Substitute Teacher for Pinellas County Schools with an Associate's degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences. I specialize in English, Art, Choir, Drama/Theatre, Psychology, and Creative Writing. I also support test prep and studying in any subject when given time to review the material. I believe students succeed when they feel empowered. I focus on identifying strengths and building confidence through learning. I start sessions with small talk to get to know students as individuals and tailor my approach to fit them. This helps me track progress and encourage growth. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I understand the need for safety and support. I approach all families with compassion and aim to be a safe, understanding presence for all families, especially LGBTQ+ students and families who need safe people. I'd love to work with you.
