Hello my name is Peta, I have over 10 years of experience working with special needs population. I have worked with youth, adolescence, Adults and seniors. I have worked in many settings such as schools, group homes, hospitals, and private family homes. The clients I have worked with have disabilities such as Autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, speech delay, epilepsy, blindness, cerebral palsy, gtube, Nonverbal, deafness, ect. I have experience as a Supported living coach, Behavioral assistant , special needs teachers Aide and caregiver. Duties that I have performed are wound care, Skin care, dressing, gtube feeding, baths, hoyer lift, light cleaning, laundry, Doctors appointments, running errands, transferring clients, preparing meals, medication management, and outings. I truly love what I do. Working with this population gives me a sense of fulfillment. Knowing that am helping those who need help.
