About Perla

Hello! My name is Perla, and I've been a caregiver for years; I work in a Montessori school and have had the opportunity to work with children of all ages (ranging from 6 weeks to school-age children). I approach caregiving by surviving as a guide to developing children. It works best to give children options. I think children should be challenged to do things independently, from teaching an infant to hold their bottle to encouraging a young toddler to put on their own socks/shoes; I enjoy teaching and learning with children. I enjoy making crafts with kids and offering homework help. I'm in school, so I'm only available part-time. Im CPR trained and have training in special education.
