I have been working with children aged 0-6 for 15+ years. Starting in England in a daycare, I gained my qualifications in Early Years Childhood Development. Following this, I worked as an au pair for 1. 5 years, before permanently moving to the USA and working as a nanny for the subsequent 9 years with multiple infants at a time, taking them through to school age. I prefer to begin my contracts with infants, helping parents navigate schedules and routines. As grow into toddlers, I apply my developmental knowledge to every day activities, ensuring children are educated and challenged while having fun. Targeting each child's individual needs. I also have a passion for kitten rescue! I am an orphaned neonatal kitten foster, my bottle-fed kittens usually accompany me to work - all while ensuring feeds don't encroach on the kids schedule. have found this to be a great way to teach empathy and care - the kids have loved being hands-on and helping out!

Penny is wonderful! She is a caring, calm, and respectful person to have in your home for infants, children and adults. We feel so lucky to have found Penny and our nanny share family who was already working with Penny. We joined the share when our first daughter was 4 months old. She managed two infants and two families beautifully and when the pandemic started added on the older sister in remote kindergarten. We had the share until our kids were 3+ and ready for preschool. Then we transitioned with Penny to care for just our two girls. We parted ways when preschool and kindergarten started this fall. Five wonderful years! We would still love to have Penny, but our mutual need for hours and schedule changed with school.
