About Peggy

While I don't yet have experience in the professional context working with seniors, I do have extensive personal experience with helping my mother care for my 85-year-old grandmother. I have also attended caregiver support groups with my mom to help educate myself on the symptoms of dementia in it's many forms and the challenges faced when caring for someone with dementia. In addition, I have always had a deep affection for seniors and the incredible wisdom and experience they bring to us. I have become more driven to work with them since noticing how over the past few years our society views and treats them or, rather, how they don't see them. They have not lost their value, they have merely lost their visibility with younger generations who are glued to their technology and missing the authentic moments and gems of wisdom that our rapidly growing senior population can provide. With our baby boomer parents reaching ages that become more challenging for them, It's time to step in.
