Hi there! My name's Payton, I'm a 19-year-old online college student and also work at a middle school in a classroom for children with autism. I have lots of caregiving experience from babysitting for multiple families since I was in 6th grade, and prior to working at the school, I was a full time nanny for a 3-year-old boy as well as a 1-year-old girl. I could also refer you to that family as well as others if it'd make you more comfortable! I'm hoping to find a job that coordinates well with my schedule at the school and ideally with kids 5 and older, or just a single baby/toddler! As first time parents finding a nanny for your baby is hard. Payton was one of the first to respond to our post to look for a nanny. When we first scheduled to meet with her via video chat she cancelled and said a family emergency had come up. I understand things happen, we went on with other interviews and circled back to her at the end to reschedule. When we finally spoke with her she was one of our top candidates! We scheduled a time for her to come to our house and meet us and our 5 month old in person. Payton confirmed the day and time via text. We sent a confirmation text the day of 30 minutes before, no response. We thought maybe she was driving. 9am arrived and Payton was no where to be found. She did not text back or try to communicate with us. We truly tried to be flexible but this shows that she either has other commitments, or just plain doesn't care. We do not take writing this review lightly and would like other families to know our experience with Payton before booking her.
