Hi I'm Paulina. I currently work at a day program funded by Regional Center for adults with mental disabilities. I am responsible for 4 clients with a variety of special needs. My job is to pick them up from their homes and teach them the skills needed to be successful and independent as possible while working in a job in the community. I also work with my clients to help meet individual goals such as to improve self-advocacy skills, self-determination, purchasing skills, safety, and critical thinking. I previously worked for another company where my clients disabilities included: hospice patients, children with severe autism and physical behaviors, blindness and elderly. I love what I do which is why I have remained in the field for so long. I would love the opportunity to work with your son/daughter/loved one.
