About Paula

I have been a therapeutic foster parent of a beautiful little 4-year-old girl. Her emotional needs were many as she had suffered neglect and abuse. I was certified in special needs children mainly from the psychological angle. I later became a direct care staff worker at a non profit children's home for abandoned and abused children's teens both in Colorado Springs and in Mo. I find it very rewarding and hold close to my heart every child in whom I cared for. Seeing the freedom a child or teenager is given from thier distrust issues and abandonment by being a loving role model and care provider is a beautiful blessing in which I am whole heartedly dedicated to. I also have cared for two elderly clients who struggled with Dementia and anxiety. I became bonded to them as family and look forward to doing companion care in the future if my services are needed. I assure you that my responsibilities towards your loved one will be a work of love and grace.
