Our family hired Paula in October of 2023 to aid in our care of my then 92 yo father who had a stroke and later a heart attack. She began by working half-days, but as his care needs grew, she eventually worked for us 12 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week. She provided his ADLs, assistance with medication and feeding, and – perhaps most importantly – companionship. She became an integral part of our family and my dad truly loved her. When it was time for hospice, she helped our family keep my father out of a SNF and allowed him of the dignity of dying at home. That would have not been possible without her assistance. Your loved one would be lucky to have her in their lives.
