About Paula

I've been drawn to childcare since my first babysitting job during high school. Taking care of children comes naturally to me, and I've made it my career because there's no better feeling than watching a child grow and develop under your care. I have a graduate degree in education, along with three years of experience as a childcare provider. I'm comfortable taking care of children between the ages of one and five, and I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules. I'm also CPR and First Aid certified, and I have my own car. I describe myself as patient, calm, creative, and friendly. I love to play outdoor sports and physical games with children, as well as board games and puzzles. I also enjoy playing educational games that promote learning. I'm bilingual in English and Spanish. I believe that communication is key in any relationship, and I make sure to keep parents updated on their child's day, both verbally at pick-up and through written notes if necessary.
