About Paula

I am a licensed CNA and Medication Aide II and have been licensed since 1991. I have an affinity with people, young and old, and also pets. The 90-year-old woman, I was doing housekeeping, and checking on became unable to live on her own anymore. I continued to help the family with her home and yard. I ran errands and took anything to the skilled nursing facility the family felt she needed until she passed. Prior to that, I worked home health for a 69-year-old man with cerebral palsy who was wheelchair bound and shut in until he needed skilled nursing care. Further, I worked mornings until 9:00 or 10:00 for a family with an adult disabled son. I assisted with his daily bathing, grooming, and physical therapy needs. My career has been in law enforcement so I have extensive security experience as well. The past year I have been employed full time at a skilled nursing facility performing CNA work and passing medication. I am now in Nursing school and need to scale down my work hours.
