About Patty

I have always had a special rapport with elderly people. I volunteered at a nursing home as a teenager and find seniors to be so interesting with their stories about their life and the knowledge and experience they have just from being around so long. I am currently caring for my 97-year-old Dad who moved in with me seven years ago. I'd describe my personality as friendly, kind, caring and funny (I will have your senior laughing in no time!). I'm looking for a job that is part time and local to me in Massapequa Park. I would consider watching your senior in my home if that's something that would be helpful for you. It might be more enriching for them to get out of their usual surroundings. I like to spend my spare time with my family, pets and friends. My skills include managing medication, running errands with them (or for them), keeping their brain young by engaging with them in activities such as art, reading, watching their favorite show, etc.
