About Patsy

I have been caring for senior family members over the past 20 years. The most recent and most involved was caring for my mother-in-law from 8/2010 until 7/2012. I was her primary live-in 24/7 caregiver. She was in the end stage of Alzheimer's. It was a very trying yet rewarding 2 years. Afterwards I was in childcare for several years as a preschool teacher and then babysitting in my home until my husband began having some health issues which made it difficult to be available for the parents. I continue to care for children occasionally. I want to care for others in the way that hopefully I will be cared for when I am in need of that type of care.
