About Patrisha

Depending on my role as a nanny or sitter, I always come prepared with engaging activities and bring my own materials to keep the children entertained and stimulated. Some of the activities I plan include making snow globes, creating books, and enjoying outdoor fun like playing soccer or flying paper airplanes we've built to see whose goes the furthest. For babies or children who are not yet able to talk, read, or write, I have visual or vocal activities planned, such as simple puzzles, singing, baby sign language, or interactive games like monkey see, monkey do. I strive to incorporate educational and stimulating activities and present them in a fun and engaging manner. Beyond childcare, I am comfortable assisting around the house when I'm not actively providing care or during downtime. I am currently in college, working towards becoming a high school teacher, and I also work as a preschool teacher. I have experience with play-based learning, RIE, and Montessori methods.
