About Patricia

As a Life Skills teacher's assistant, I enjoy working with the elderly and sharing my time with those with disabilities. I work diligently in providing relevant activities, and personal assistance to each person in a fun filled, but safe and caring environment. I have found the experience interesting and enriching. My interaction with families, the community, and individuals has afforded me the opportunity to become familiar with the many and varied needs of people of all ages including the elderly. I have extensive hands- on experience, with the elderly, including taking care of family members, volunteering as caregiver with the elderly and working with those with disabilities. I am energetic, creative and very cognizant of the need for reliability compassion and trustworthiness at all times. Given the opportunity, I am always prepared to work, to learn, and to make the elder lady happy and comfortable with daily assistance personal care, respect and companionship of shared stories, games and arts.
