About Patricia

I worked in a nursing facility for two years, where I served the patients their meals, visited with them, and helped them return to their rooms. My dad died in 2011 of Early Onset Alzheimer's, and was in a nursing facility for the last four years of his life. I spent a lot of time visiting with other residents while visiting my dad, because my dad could no longer communicate or acknowledge me during his last two years. I so enjoyed listening to the residents, and it warmed my heart to see how much it blessed them when I would give them attention. I would like to be able to bless other elderly people by offering them companionship, and meeting some of their basic needs.
