About Patricia

I have been working with children since I was about 12 years old. I started babysitting my neighbor's children then I went on to work at an after-school daycare at the age of 16. At the daycare, I worked with children from the ages 5-11. I loved the whole experience and it taught me a lot more about being patient and understanding. Through working there, I realized I wanted to work with children in my future and decided to work at a summer camp as a counselor for children ages 10-15. With this experience, I was really able to build great relationships with the children each week of the summer and so I decided to come the next year to work as the health officer. I graduated university with a bachelor's in Psychology and plan to focus on getting my master's in child psychology. I have also had the joy of welcoming my little 3-month-old to this world so I am looking for a great family to work with that would not mind me taking my little one to work with me.
