Hi! I grew up in a home with three younger siblings, one of which is disabled and non verbal and a mom who owns a daycare. During Covid (I was in high-school at the time) I helped out taking care of children of all ages, including my siblings (much younger than me). I now work at a clinic that specializes in ABA therapy as a Licensed Behavioral Technician and have been there for the better part of a year. This job has opened up so many doors for me and has taught me a lot about childcare. I've babysat children for coworkers and friends and they've encouraged me to broaden my horizons. I like working with kids because it gives me opportunities to help others and learn more about the interests of children, overall helping me build rapport when working at my clinic, and I'm looking for a job that will give me a chance to show my passion for working with children and my passion for growth.

Patricia is the babysitter / nanny that everybody dreams they’ll find. I’ve always been someone who worries and stresses the entire time I leave my kids, even whenever I have close family watching them that I trust. I never enjoyed outings and never felt like I could really relax because the kids were always on my mind the entire time. Before I knew it I was counting down the minutes and rushing the outing just to get home again. That was until Patricia came into the picture. Haha! For context, I’m a mother of 4 year old twins (one nonverbal with Autism), as well as a 2 year old tornado child. I am fully aware that my children are not easily managed. Patricia’s first experience with my children was for a weekend getaway. She was thoughtful, meticulous and an extremely attentive listener when going over our routine, the kids likes, habits, and behaviors. She asked questions that I wouldn’t have thought to cover, but that were beneficial for her to know. She was in constant contact, which I adored, however she left me the option to have a more less interactive experience if I wanted to relax without the phone going off as much. I’m a stage 5 helicopter mom though, so that wasn’t necessary, haha. My children adored her and even asked when she’d be coming back. She cleaned while I was gone, even through my constant begging of her not to. Patricia has ample experience with children of autism and other special needs. Her ability to get into the mindset of a child and engage in imaginative play is admirable even to somebody who has been a mother for several years. When we arrived back from our weekend getaway Patricia had left such thorough notes that I basically had a summary of their entire weekend together which was very thoughtful and attentive. So if you’re browsing for a sitter, stop here, you’ve found THE one! 💗
