About Patricia

I have over 10 years of experience in caring for the sick and the disable in their homes or hospital. My duties were to sit, read and give medication to my patients as instructed. I have cared for men and women. I have cared for the mentally challenged, the terminally ill and bedridden patients also. My duties was to give diabetic shots or take care of a patients that has to used a G-tube, J-tube or a Catheter. I dress the patients, change bed linens, cook, wash and dry clothes, took patients to their doctor appointments, etc. I had a lot of love and compassion for the families that I have taken care of in the past. I have been taking care of my dad since 12/2011. In the year of 2004, I also took care of my brother who had a g-tube in his stomach; my brother had a hole in his esophagus. In order for my brother to have anything to eat or drink my mom and I had to administered everything through the tube. Also the tube had to be flushed out before and after we used it. I have spent a lot of time and patience in always talking to family members in what I can do to help make their love ones feel comfortable in their own homes by showing them a lot of love and patience in their time of despair. In closing I do have allergies and I am allergic to some strong smells like cigarette smoke and strong pet orders. In February of 2011, I have cared for my great niece when she was just 6 weeks old up until she was 10 months old. I also have a lot of experience in babysitting/private nanny and other odd jobs.
