I have many years working with young people of all ages. I am more than happy to play games and have a particular fondness for candyland. I understand the need for safety. I prefer cooperation to power struggles . I'm an educated woman who is also silly. I believe each child has individual needs. AzI'm a good listener and willing to sing "wheels on the bus." I belive that reading to or with children is essential. I love " Good night moon." Helping children access their own injunuity can be fun . Children need to feel safe while being sensitive to their feelings. I understand that every family has its own rules and culture. I know children can be picky eaters and some have food allergies. That is most important. I also make a mean peanut butter and jelly sandwich and have no problem cutting off the crusts as needed. I understand the importance of chicken nuggets. I have no problem singing to children or reading to them at bed time. I am ADHD and diaper friendly
