Dear Reader, I have a 17-year-old who was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy when she was 8 months old. I am very passionate for children with disabilities because now, as a parent, I see how they are avoided by others, even as much as they try to fit in. I also have a very close friend who has a grandson (12) with the same disability, but in a different part of his body. We often share experiences and helpful tips for our children.
