My name is Patricia, but most call me by my middle name, Leigh Ann. I have been the go-to babysitter for my entire family since I was a child myself. Everyone picked up on my natural motherly type instincts at a very young age and trusted me to do very well with my little cousins, and later, niece and nephews. I have also babysat for multiple friends and was a nanny for my sister for three years on and off. I say on and off because toward the end it wasn't an everyday thing anymore. I was in school and I had gotten another job at an insurance company, so my schedule had changed. When I was a nanny the children's ages were 2, 6 and 8 when I first started. I was there bright and early in the morning and did breakfast, lunch, and many times dinner. I did housekeeping, scheduling, play time, sick time, potty training, nap time, bath time, and homework. I always made sure they had a balanced meal, never too much junk. I have taken care of kids at just about every age, from infants all the way to teenagers. I love kids, I hope to have some of my own one day, but right now I am focused on school and work so I can build a good life for them when the time comes. I'm looking more for babysitting jobs that are on and off right now. Maybe things like when someone needs a date night, friends' night out, maybe you have late night meetings, errands to run, have classes, something important comes up and you need a sitter for a while, or just a break to have a little free time to yourself. Basically, I cannot do an everyday, all day nanny type job right now. I'm looking for more of a side job that's actually fun to me. I could possibly do something steady as long as the schedules match up okay. I'm putting something as a minimum and maximum in the hourly rate boxes because I have to, but the amount I will take all depends on the situation. :) Also, the miles I'm willing to drive will depend on the situation.
