I have been working in caring for people with physical and cognitive disabilities closely for the past five years in my job and volunteer opportunities, and I have much experience with persons with special needs as I have a family member who has cognitive disabilities. In my past jobs I have worked 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts at a group home providing supervision, assistance with cares, and distributing medications. In addition, I worked in a day program that involved planning activities that created more involvement for the individuals within the community. I am a very outgoing person and love working with people (and animals). I am a Psychology major at Florida State and plan to go to school for Occupational Therapy.
