I have taken care of an elderly couple. He had diabetes and had suffer several strokes, leaving his left side paralyzed. She had Alzheimer's (in the late part of the first stage). Everyday, I cooked their breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I cleaned the house, did the laundry and helped with grocery shopping. I became very attached to these lovely people. I enjoyed talking to him and playing card with her. I taught her how to play "Go Fish"; we had a very good time playing cards and visiting.
