Patty was a loving, caring and kind caregiver to my 96 year old mother-in-law for 4 years until her death in the summer of 2024. My mother in-law was a retired UConn professor. She was an accomplished artist and author of several books of historical fiction for young adult readers. She liked honest competent people around her. Patty catered to her diet and administered her prescribed medicine, attended Mum in-law’s medical appointments when called on. Assisted in her bathing and toileting as well as creamed her body and her beautiful hair shampooed and styled . She kept her in the manner of cleanliness and dress that my mother-law-preferred. She made her happy She communicated with me daily and kept me informed on any developments in my Mum -in-laws sleep, exercise, eating and well. She helped us shop and cook her food. Patty even become a trusted shopper for Mum-in-laws clothes. Patty was dependable and I felt always provided my mother-law with a sense that she was in good hands. She worked day and overnights and was part team of 24hr. Care Givers.
