About Pat

I am an enamored grandmom with a BA in psych, courses in Early Childhood Development, and certified in infant care. My past childcare experience includes 6 years working with emotionally disturbed children and adolescents in a crisis setting. I have provided in-home childcare for a 1 yr old, 2 days/wk. for over a year and occasional sitting for children 0-7 before school through bedtime, incl meals, activities, homework help, and tucking-in. I have also provided childcare for visitors in their lodgings. My volunteer experience includes running sports and crafts activities and providing drop-in sitting for a non-profit family program. For 6 years I was the head Sunday school teacher in a multi-age classroom. My current experience is sitting for my grandkids, FT overnight, from newborn through 5 years, and other family up to 12 years. My interests include crafts, nature, music, sports, cooking, and reading. I adapt to the child's interest while exploring new things to build mind and body
