About Pamela

I have nine nieces and nephews so I've always been around kids. I've nannied three of them in the past and loved every minute. I have also worked in preschools as both an aide and a teacher. I taught STEM at a charter school and spent my mornings working as a paraprofessional. I went on to reach kids with autism life skills, such as teeth brushing, shoe tying, and emotional management, as well as assisting in school work. I'd describe my personality as energetic, patient, and caring. I love to have fun and see myself as a big child myself. I like working with kids because I love how fun they are and getting to know each child is a gift. It's incredible to watch them grow and learn and come into themselves. You get to know people at the most vulnerable stage of their lives, in that rare part where they depend on adults to get through and have a good life. I love to be a part of getting to make their lives be as wonderful as they can be.
