Pam is a highly intelligent, warm and kind individual who views caregiving not only as a vocation but as one of her main passions in life and it showed in every aspect of her work. Our 94 y/o mother had multiple medical problems including osteoporosis and spinal deformities as well as difficulty swallowing and a pronounced hand tremor which made both mobility and eating challenging for her. Pam, via humor, encouragement and patience, was able to successfully motivate her to walk and exercise as much as possible all the while making it fun for her. Likewise Pam worked diligently to ensure that our mother had adequate food and fluid intake despite her problems eating. She was very experienced and knowledgeable about all other aspects of caregiving including bathing, dressing, cooking, medication administration, handling the declining mental abilities of our mother, always emphasizing safety and at the same time being respectful and caring. She was a great companion, my mom adored her.
