I have had the pleasure of working with 4 very wonderful families. Three of whom I still babysit for. One had to move back to the UK. I started out as a mothers helper working with two families whose moms were working from the home. I did Mon. Wed. and Fri. with one family and Tues and Thur. with the other. Both had 6-month-old girls. I would read with them, take them to story time, long walks, go to the park, play, feed them, give them naps. if there was idle time I would try to help around the house with light housekeeping. One family had to move and the other family the mom finished her thesis and got her Ph. D. I then started with a new family that had a 6-month-old and then 14 months later had a second baby. I worked for them 40-45 hours a week. They are expecting a third child and decided to go with a live-in nanny. I am looking for a family now who could use help. I am a grandmother and my grandchildren are my greatest joy. I would treat your children with love and respect.
