About Pallavi

I absolutely love teaching. Using my background to communicate to students both technical knowledge, and skills of how to acquire that knowledge is a passion of mine. I am a biomedical engineer but have always valued helping younger generations achieve their goals. Since 2011, I have tutored both independently and for companies. My students' ages range from elementary school to graduate school and I teach subjects including math, science, English, standardized tests (GRE, SAT, ACT, private high school exams), etc. I also teach small after-school math and science classes and have won teaching awards at CMU for my work as a biomedical engineering teaching assistant. I have significant experience with teaching standardized tests and performed well on them myself. I want to give these students a solid foundation for their future. Nothing brings me joy like a student finally understanding a difficult topic and feeling empowered to pursue that knowledge.
