a nanny, substitute teacher, mother of two. I love children and working in education / early child development. I take what I do seriously while also bringing a lot of fun and enthusiasm into our days. I have been working with children for over a decade now, both in schools and as a nanny. My approach allows children to grow their independence and confidence. I am very patient and nurturing while still encouraging them to learn and try new things on their own. I incorporate free choice as much as possible while still keeping us structured within a safe environment . During the school year I am a full time substitute teacher while I finish my degree in education. I mostly work with children with special needs, disabilities, and those with autism. I would be happy and capable to do that for your family as well. I am looking for a job just for the summer months.
