About Paige

To start I am an only child born and raised in Florida. Although I am an only child I have lived with my younger cousins my whole life, who I love dearly. I've always been one to jump towards an opportunity to watch kids because I find joy in making new friends (especially cute little babies). my mom would refer me to her friends when I was in middle school and that is where I started babysitting regularly for non family members. I babysat a family of two boys for about two years (2012-2014), in this case one boy had mild autism (6yrs) and his younger brother with a clef pallet (1yr). At first it was a challenge but once I got used to their daily routine it was very fun! That experience led me to be interested in volunteering with the special education kids at my school, I joined a program to help socially engage kids that have a hard time making friends called best buddies. I continued this club to my senior year of high school and have loved every second of it.
