Last year, I got the chance to step into a teaching role, even though I'm not a licensed teacher or working independently in a classroom. I worked with kids in a way that brought out my love for guiding and supporting their learning. I've always been drawn to working with elementary-aged kids, especially in settings that involve the outdoors and hands-on activities, and last year really gave me a chance to see how rewarding it can be.
