I have a passion for working with and helping kids and adults with disabilities. I have over 3 years of experience and I am studying Recreational Therapy at Clemson University with a goal to become an Occupational Therapist. My prior experience includes 2 sessions of a 6-day overnight camp for kids and adults who have a wide range of disabilities. I have also spent 1 summer as an inclusion camp counselor for 2 girls with Down Syndrome. I also was heavily involved with Special Olympics at Clemson. This summer, I will begin working as a Therapeutic Recreation Assistant in Charlotte. I am very outgoing, energetic, and patient. I love teaching and playing with people who have disabilities and jump at any opportunity I can to further my experience. I am most comfortable with people who have Down or Autism but also have good experience with people who have CP and a wide range of other disabilities.
