About Paige

I am a 11th year elementary teacher in Kailua, HI. I have a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education and a Masters of Education in Curriculum Studies. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Curriculum Studies. I find joy in working with kids and helping them find their passion for learning. I have years of classroom experience working with up to 30 children at a time. I've also been a babysitter for various families in the past. I am willing to tutor elementary aged children (mostly testing grades 3rd-6th) in math or reading, although I am open to helping those younger as well. I have experience with various curriculum and teaching practices, so I'd be able to apply a range of strategies to see what works for your child best. To keep things consistent with what your child is learning at school, I am also open to exploring the curriculum they are learning and act as a supplemental support to reinforce those skills being taught in class.
